Attending the WADA World Conference

TWOD attended the WADA World Conference on Doping in Sport, Johannesburg, South Africa. Every four year there is a WADA World Conference and this year Johannesburg hosted the event during five days in November.

The major milestone of this conference was the new revised WADA Code, recognized by the Executive Foundation Board. The Code will be effectuated in 2015. The new revised code was strongly supported by the IOC President Thomas Bach and the participants. President Bach held a strong speech at the opening ceremony of the conference, emphasizing on the sports movement's zero tolerance on use of doing substances by athletes.
